LifeSource Romania goes on 2 mission trips a year. In July, we take a group to do maintenance projects in the orphanages. We also minister as we purchase and then deliver food and supplies to a poor village of 12 families. In December, we purchase Christmas presents for all of the children and teens of the village. We provide a wonderful, fun Christmas party and dinner in their village. Then we host 4 different parties with gifts and decorations for the children of the Bucharest orphanages as we give them Christmas gifts and tell them about our Savior. Our mission is to show the love of God by taking care of some of their basic physical needs. Our main need for our Romania team is money, It is expensive to fly there,and then we have to bring money for all items needed for all of the projects we do. This year, we are asking for arts and crafts items to leave in Bucharest at the orphanages. It needs to be very light so that our suitcase will not be over the weight limit. Yarn, crayons, markers, pipe cleaners, etc would be helpful.
