An Appointment to Trust God

Appointment reminders ping our phones, highlighted appointments appear in our planners, and an array of colored sticky notes are posted in various places as reminders. We receive calls and voice messages to remind us of appointments we have committed to. Appointments of all kinds are important in our every day lives. Life would be quite unorganized and even chaotic without set appointments to get things done. Without the reminders, many appointments would unfortunately be missed and have to be rescheduled, (and that can be quite challenging at times); many important things would be left undone.
There are very crucial appointments that we need to make and then be sure not to miss them. Those are the appointments to 'trust God'. Whatever circumstances you're facing right now or may be walking through, you need to stop and secure an appointment to trust God. Whether we understand why God allowed something or not, we do know His comfort and care are available to us in the middle of our pain. God is always readily available to us; His appointment book is never full. "The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
(Ps. 34:18, NIV)
God's plan goes far beyond what we can see. Focus to see the hand of God and how He uses twists and turns in our lives to lead us on a new journey. God may have a greater, eternal purpose that we cannot understand right now, and we may not fully comprehend it until we see Jesus face to face. Are you willing to trust God and believe that He will bring blessings out of pain?
Will you trust Him to design a new life that may be more beautiful than you ever imagined? Or will you settle for mere survival, or less - will you fall into discouragement, bitterness, and frustration?
Hope can turn disappointments into appointments to trust God.
We will inevitably experience challenges in life, but God, will not leave us. “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). Through Christ we can have living hope and cherish His peace and joy. "Don't be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength" (Neh. 8:10).
God has not left you, He has a plan that He is weaving together in His faithfulness and love. Wait and watch, sisters. Continue to seek God's help and ask for His hope to fill your heart. So, don't miss your appointment to trust God, He is much bigger than our struggles. You can bet you won't need an appointment reminder!
Listen as Jesus says to you, "I am with you, trust Me, and abide with Me." When our eyes are on God, there is peace and not worry, strife, nor fear.
Go ahead to make, confirm, and keep your appointment to trust in the Lord!
Father, God, thank you for loving us beyond our comprehension. Thank you for allowing us to come to You in full trust, knowing Your appointment book is never too full for Your children. May we come to you in trusting, faithful obedience. Thank You for Jesus.
