Be a "Joyizer"

The picture and commercial of the energizer bunny comes to mind when thinking about never-ending energy. It just keeps going and going until its battery runs down and needs recharging or changing. It only keeps going due to the energizer battery that supplies its energy. Let us think about this as we relate it to where our spiritual energy, vitality, and joy come from.

I would like to propose becoming a "joyizer" energized by the Spirit of God within you. When you are personally connected with Christ, the Holy Spirit renews your mind in Christ. "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will" (Rom.12:2, NIV). The closer you grow to Christ, the more you will be inspired to live a pure life that honors Him. As you feel yourself becoming "joyized", it will energize you and your joy will become contagious to those around you making others feel energized as well.

As you become a "joyizer" the Spirit of God within you will act as your spiritual battery to continually recharge you and give you the strength to carry on. Feeling the love of God within you recharges your battery and gives you the vitality to move for Him. This lifeline is the true fountain that never runs dry. You will feel joy within - pure joy that energizes you spiritually and gives you the desire to try new things and to continue to learn, grow, and spiritually mature. You will also discern more of Gods' will in your life to achieve the plans He has for you (see Jer. 29:11). You will find yourself forever energized with God, forever one in Spirit with Him.

Stay plugged in to your one true power source, feel the joy of the Lord energize your soul, and keep going and going for Him! "The joy of the Lord is my strength" (Neh. 8:10). You will be forever energized, "joyized", and changed.

Father, we know that You are our true source of joy and with that we are energized in our faith to work out our salvation and the plans You have for each one of us. Thank You for loving us and recharging us when we feel weak. We love You, we honor You, we cherish You, our true source of life. In Jesus Name, Amen.
