BFF's

 ^"No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you"

(John 15:15, NKJV).

I have a very dear friend that I have had since grade school. When she messages me, she always addresses me as her VBFF (very best friend forever). We are still BFF's (best friends forever) to this day!

This got me to thinking about MVBFF (my very best friend forever), Jesus Christ. Let me share just ten things that I have discovered and cherish about my friendship with Jesus:

1. He is my real friend. (John 15:15)

   2. I am a member of Christ's body. (I Cor. 12:27)

   3. Because of Jesus, I have been redeemed and forgiven of all my sins. (Col. 1:14)

   4. I am complete in Christ. (Col. 2:10)

   5. I am hidden with Christ in God. (Col. 3:3)

   6. I am a branch of the True Vine, Jesus, a channel of His life. (John 15:1, 5)

   7. I am a personal, Spirit-empowered witness of Christ. (Act 1:8)

   8. I am seated with Christ in the heavenly realms. (Eph. 2:6)

   9. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me; Jesus and I are in this

   together. (Phil. 4:13)

   10. Jesus thought I was worth dying for, so He laid down His life for mine.(John 15:3)

   Believe when I say that there is much more to share about a true friendship and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, our Savior. God's word boasts of so much more. I hope you will dive into His word and see for yourself. You will never know a more loving and eternal friendship than one with Jesus.

   If you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, what are you waiting for? Your best Friend is waiting for you to accept His friendship. He loves you so much He thought you were worth dying for, too. Won't you befriend Him today? It is like nothing you have ever experienced in your life.

   "No one has greater love [nor stronger commitment] than to lay down his own life for his friends" (John 15:13, Amp).

   
   

   Father, God, thank You for Your precious Son, Jesus, who calls us His friends. Thank You, Father, for the sacrifice of Your one and only Son, so that we may be called Your children. We praise You for loving us beyond measure. It's in our True Friend Jesus' name, Amen.
