Change of Address

"But [we are different, because] our citizenship is in heaven. And from there we eagerly await [the coming of] the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ" (Phil. 3:20, Amp).

Have you ever gone through the process of changing your address? It can be quite a task making sure all of your mail, packages, and even friends and family are aware of the change. Changes must be made on documents, driver's licenses, identification cards, financial responsibilities, and the list goes on. A change of address may even take a little getting used to for yourself as well.

I recently, after going through an address change myself, have come to realize my actual new address! I live on Abundance Avenue! I no longer live on "Shortage Street" or "Lacking Lane".

My perspective has been elevated to live in the abiding joy of God's abundance. This is my inheritance as a child of God, and it is yours too! We can live the abundant life that our heavenly Father intended for us. We can all be neighbors and experience the joyful blessings in the abundance that God provides for us as His children. Won't you consider changing your address to "Abundance Avenue" and rejoice in all that He has prepared for you? You will never be lacking or experience a shortage of love, mercy, grace, and provision from God our Father. I urge you to intentionally change your address today and begin to rejoice in His abundance.

"The Lord is the portion of my inheritance, my cup [He is all I need]; You support my lot" (Ps. 16:5, Amp).

"You will show me the path of life (You have chosen for me); In Your presence is fullness of joy: In Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore" (Ps. 16:11, Amp).

Lord, lift our vision to a higher perspective of You and the abundance of love You have for us as Your children. May we continuously abide in the joy of our inheritance You have planned for us. May we keep our eyes focused above on You as we praise You for Your abundance in our lives. In Jesus' abundant Name, Amen.
