Enjoy Living Life with God

Updated: May 30, 2024

"With God all things are possible" (Matt. 19:26).

I encourage you to view your life as an exciting journey you can look back on with new understanding. All those twists, turns, and detours that may have seemed unnecessary actually moved you to where God needed you to be today. As you realize that living your life God's way is the only way, let's focus on some key points to help you stay in line with Him:

"For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes" (Rom 1:16a).

*Your thoughts, words, and deeds determine the day you will experience and share with others through your knowledge of the Gospel.

"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing" (James 1: 2-4).

*Even though life can be a challenge, create your day with an attitude of expectancy and jubilation. Make a conscious decision to walk out each day with a joyful faith.

"Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the Light of the world. If you follow Me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the Light that leads to life" (John 8:12).

*Smile and watch others reflect your smile as you walk confidently in the Light. Your life will radiate the Light of Christ.

"This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it" (Ps. 118:24).

*Accept the gift of life God has given you with awe and wonder. Each day is truly a gift, so enjoy it and spend quality time with your heavenly Father. Talk to Him, laugh with Him, praise Him. Go for a walk with Him.

"For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom" (2 Cor. 3:17).

*Develop an assurance of confidence and trust in your life with God. Experience His freedom, and this will be evident for others to see.

"If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me" (Jer. 29:13.

*Relax with the Father and enjoy being in His presence. Look for all the "God-winks" around you in the big and the little things.

“If Your presence does not go [with me], do not lead us up from here" (Ex. 33:15).

*No matter what route you take, you always have divine guidance with God beside you. Allow Him to prompt you in the direction you go. Let Him lead, and then you follow. Think about His leading - His will, His way, His timing, and His purpose.

"So teach us to number our days, so that we may cultivate and bring to You a heart of wisdom" (Ps. 90:12).

*As you journey through with God, live in the wonder of every moment, every new scene and celebrate the joy you will experience with Him. You will soon see that God has provided you with wisdom to celebrate your life as He intended.

"But just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the Gospel, so we speak, not to please man, but to please God who tests our hearts" (1 Thes. 2:4).

*Life is always a glorious journey as you live life with God. Now go and share Jesus with someone today. Your job is to please the Father not other people. God sees your heart continually, so do it His way and enjoy the journey.

"I Pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in Him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit" (Rom. 15:13).

Father, thank You for Your presence as we journey life with You. May we honor You in all we do. Thank You for Your love and guidance. We are honored that You trust us with the Gospel of Christ to share with others. Continue to bless us and may Your will be done in our lives. In Jesus' Name we pray, Amen.
