“Do not remember the former things, or ponder the things of the past. 'Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, now it will spring forth; will you not be aware of it?' I will even put a road in the wilderness, rivers in the desert"
(Isaiah 43:18-19, Amp).
As the new year approaches and we make the annual resolutions or set new goals for the new year, may we stop to reflect over the past year to see how God has truly walked with each one of us and blessed us richly along the way. It is also vital that we don't miss what He is doing in our lives right now! With God, life is always new. The Holy Spirit, His very Spirit, flows through us as God continues to make us new.
In 2025, be reminded that God has given you everything you need for what lies ahead in this newly approaching year. He has gone before you and prepared the way. Stay focused and pay close attention to the 'new thing' He is doing in your life right now! Get excited for the new things He will continue to do in your life as you commit to Him.
"Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy" (Eph. 4:24, NLT).
As you prepare to let go of the old and welcome in the new, may God remind you that new is what you focus on, not the old.
No one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the [fermenting] wine will [expand and] burst the skins, and the wine is lost as well as the wineskins. But new wine must be put into new wineskins” (Mark 2:22, Amp).
Be intentional about your walk with the Lord and make plans to follow His lead into the new year. Happy New Year, Sisters!
Lord, we put our future in Your capable and loving hands. We ask that You would give us total peace about it. We don't want to be trying to secure our future with plans of our own. We want to be in the center of Your plans for us, knowing that You have given us everything we will ever need for what lies ahead in the new year. Thank You, Father for making all things new for each of us. We love and adore You Father, God. In Jesus Holy Name, Amen.
