"How great is the love the Father has lavished on us that we should be called children of God!" (I John 3:1, NIV)
Do you ever stop to think about how much God truly loves you? Why is it that we do not take the time to focus our hearts and minds on this amazing truth? Are we just so bogged down with our problems, our stresses, and life's detours that His love seems so distant? Some tell themselves that if they just tried harder, or lived a better life, or this or that conditions, God would love them more. This is simply NOT true!
God loves you with an everlasting, unconditional love. Sisters, nothing you do or don't do can cause Him to love you any more or less. He created you, and He loves and accepts you the way you are. God's ultimate plan is to mold, create, and build you into the image of His Son, Jesus.
"Then God said, “Let us make man in Our image, after Our likeness..." (Gen. 1:26a). We were created to be in relationship with God. He is the Potter and we are His clay as He gently and lovingly, with great compassion, molds us into all we were created to be. "But now, O Lord, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You are our Potter; we are the work of Your hand." (Is. 64:8)
You have a choice to rejoice, sisters, He made us to be His precious daughters. Because He is establishing you by His loving, creative hand, He will shine through you with His everlasting love. Come to know God in such a way that leaves no room for doubt that you are His and He truly loves you. You are royalty, a daughter of the King!
Be encouraged by taking the 30 Day Love Challenge. Read one scripture each day for the next 30 days, this will allow you to see and soak in God's love for you. Write them out, absorb them in your heart. You will soon begin to see God's abundant love for you. Your life will soon take on the light of love from above. I guarantee your whole life's perspective will indeed change. Come on now and accept the challenge, it only takes 21 days for something to become a habit.
