"The Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, to guide and to shield me],I shall not want. He lets me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still and quiet waters. He refreshes and restores my soul (life); He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the [sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort and console me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You have anointed and refreshed my head with oil; My cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, And I shall dwell forever [throughout all my days] in the house and in the presence of the Lord" (Psalm 23, Amp).
Will you allow your faith in Jesus to sustain you? Think about the words of assurance in the very title of this message - 'Where He Guides, He Provides.'
You can never really be alone because God's presence is with you wherever you are. He will guide you in all that you do, if you will allow Him to lead. Your task is to follow Him. God will provide all of your needs, the comfort you seek, and the assurance you desire. In times of solitude, learn to become more aware of God. Seek Him! Find Him in His Word and in the quiet times of prayer.
In the presence of God, You are given unconditional love and acceptance. The indwelling Spirit of God within you is the Source of life which energizes you, and It's the breath of life which renews you. You are never ever really alone, He has provided His constant fellowship with you now and always. He has given you life, and through the the life you live, may you bless others.
When facing challenges in this earthly life that seem overwhelming, seek God's guidance. Learn to be faithfully obedient in all things. Whenever life's circumstances come your way, Focus upward, remain faithful, and seek only Him. He is all you will ever need.
Father, forgive us when we fret because on our own, we don't have the resources to face the challenges in life that come our way. Thank You for showing us that all we need is to obey You. May we follow Your lead, guidance, and provision. Thank you for Jesus that sustains our faith. We praise You for Your provisions. We honor You that we are never truly alone, You, Father are our Constant. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
